Black-polish rims Corniche Monza in dimension of 8×18 inches combined with wheels give vital road adherence, while medium lowering by 35 millimetres was ensured by Audi A1 in-house sport springs.

The Audi A1 engine is one of the starting points of the reconstruction presented here. The function of the factory installed air filter now is performed by BMC OTA Power Airbox. To improve performance, a Chipbox was built as a performance-enhancing module, thereby at least 115 kW or 156 hp and torque of 250 Nm are available now. In electronics, a power converter is responsible for the gas signal amplification. For ordinary steam handling, Senner Tuning provides the stainless steel exhaust system in the right or left version including silencer and tailpipes, each 90 millimeters in diameter. As it might be expected from SENNER: of course with EC-approval.

Vital road adherence is provided by black-polish rims Corniche Monza in dimension of 8×18 inches combined with wheels. The S1 Evo Tyres are from Hankook. In addition, in-house sport springs provide a medium lowering by 35 millimeters.

The above mentioned modification adds foreseeable 4590 Euros. This Audi A1 amount includes the necessary TÜV registrations and additional warranty. Furthermore, the team from Ingelheim also offers essential coilover with custom height, rebound and compression adjustment, various parts of carbon, refinement of the interior or conversion to LED rear lights. These new Audi A1′s looking funny, something just isn’t right. Chick car I think..

I agree with tuning – they’re on the feminine side, but they still look cool enough, like a Mini or a Jetta, where I wouldn’t feel weird driving it. R8′s are what really got me looking at Audi’s though. My boss owns one and it’s incredible.

Judging from the looks of the car I think that 4590 Euros is an excellent price to pay ;)

Not a fan of this particular Audi model. It seems to be a european car disguised as a japanese car. When I think of Audi, their classier models come to mind instead are much better. I think they should keep their focus on those models instead of the A1 design.

A1 is definitely not Audi’s flagship product. For a brand that’s always related to style, elegance, and class, the A1 is a mishap.

  7. Danielle says on: 27 January 2011 at 9:43 pm

Yes, it is a car for “chick”, but what’s wrong with that?
    However it’s pretty expensive tuning!

  8. trasferimenti londra says on: 28 January 2011 at 3:18 pm

@danielle – i dont find it so expensive. If you want quality, you have to pay. There are so many bad tuning parts that makes you vomit. So I find very affordable this price for this quality.

I’m with you on that. While I’d much rather be driving an S4, it’d be a great way to break the ice! Does anyone else think the last generation TT was a bit feminine too?

Once you have driven an Audi you realize they are worth the extra dollars compared to their cheaper competitors in similar classes.

  20. toronto cars says on: 18 March 2011 at 12:38 pm

2 Tomo54: can it really beat the Mini? –
as for me – I would better choose A1, but in general think Mini will still keep its place on the market

  21. NJ DWI Lawyers says on: 22 March 2011 at 8:33 am

I must agree with the rest of the comments here, looks like a feminine car. I’m not being bias or something because I’m more of an American classic car kind of guy. I like other Audi models but I just don’t know about this new mini model. Let’s just wait for it till its out of the market. Thanks for the informative post.

Woow! What a tunning! Now this is what real tuning is all about! Most of today’s boy racers usually spend all their money on body kits that don’t even suit the cars. But this tuning is perfectly matched to the A1 and looks beautiful! Congrats mate!

  29. Karen Car Rental says on: 2 July 2011 at 1:03 pm

The new Audi A1 is a funny looking thing but if you drive it you will be surprised, nice little run around great fuel economy and the style to match. GO GET ONE

  30. car maintenance tips says on: 26 September 2011 at 6:24 pm

Lovely car. Some comments about the car being a little old but I think its the right audi for the job as the A1 has all for whhels right on the outer corner and with the styling it does look like its ready for a bull fight

  31. Bike Locks says on: 6 October 2011 at 2:43 am

This is a very nice car. I love the styling. Audi’s trump card is its robustness. This is also the best car in fuel economy.
