Audi LED Daytime
LED daytime running lights make sure you are seen quickly by other road users, whatever the daytime light conditions.In fog, wind and all weathers: fifty percent of all accidents at junctions during the day are caused by not seeing other road users in time. As a solution to the problem, experts recommend switching on the dipped-beam headlights during the day, or the use of additional daytime running lights. For this reason, many Audi models have daytime running lights with LED light sources. The benefit: other road users can see your vehicle quickly, whatever the daytime light conditions. Another advantage: these special daytime running lights consume less energy than normal dipped-beam headlights. This reduces fuel consumption and extends the dipped headlights’ working life. Automatic activation or deactivation can be selected as desired in the vehicle settings. When the dipped-beam headlights are activated by the light and rain sensor, the daytime running lights are automatically switched off.

Dear Audi….is a very interesting idea, is really a very brilliant idea this especially regarding safety in driving, audi always make a car safe for all driver. I hope that of other manufacturers vehicles follow audi technology.

i like the idea to make driving more safe. in the same time design is great!
This is one of the most innovative head light designs ever. They really do look good. A car like this cost a lot to insure, but I’m sure it’s worth it.
This is one brilliant invention since some cities and states now are requiring to have each owner to have daytime headlights installed for our own safety. I think it’s necessary. Juts had mine replaced and I find it interesting because it is also stylish.
The LED running lights on the Audi remind me of the black patches football players put under their eyes to keep the glare off. Whenever I see one in public I immediately know it’s an Audi.

As far as I remember, AUdi was the very first car company to use it on a larger scale.
